On 08/01/2019, Dr Y. S. Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry announced Job notification to hire candidates who completed M.Sc, Any Post Graduate, M.Phil/Ph.D for the position of Technical Assistant, Scientist, Assistant Professor
Other Qualification Details:
1. Ph.D. Degree in the concerned subject relaxable to M.Sc. (Master degree for the post in discipline of Information Technology) with consistently good academic record i.e. 55% marks at Master'S level. A relaxation Of 5% from 55% to 50% of marks at Master'S level Shall be provided to SC/ ST categories.
2. A relaxation of 5% will be provided from 55% of marks to the Ph.D. degree holders who have passed their master'S degree prior to September, 1991.
3. For the candidates having Master's degree, NET shall remain compulsory along with one publication in NAAS (National Academy of Agricultural Sciences, New Delhi) rated referred journal for recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor and equivalent in the disciplines in which NET is conducted. Essentiality of NET can be waived off for the candidates holding Ph.D. degree provided it has been done with course work as prescribed by the uGC
4. Regulations, 2009, and the candidate has at-least two full length publications having a NAAS rating not less than 4, On the last date of submission Of application. Those candidates with Ph.D. degree without course work will not qualify for NET exemption. Further, this will be implbe implemented with perspective date i.e. w.e.f. 01st January, 2012.
5. For the candidates registered for Ph.D. prior to 11.07.2009, NET essentiality for recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor and equivalent in the disciplines in which NET is conducted, shall be exempted subject to the condition that:
